He specializes in examining the potential impact of Open Banking on banking industry growth, market structures and bank governance. A former senior banker, he has held roles such as Head of International Banking, Head of Product Management, Head of Emerging Sectors and Head of Transaction Banking. Paul is the author of "PSD2 in Plain English" and "Open Banking Strategy Formation".
Marcus Cann is currently the Head of Partner Engagement at Volt Bank, Australia’s first licensed digital bank. He leads the Open Banking initiative at Volt, as well as the team that allows Partners to build their own business on Volt’s ‘banking as a platform’ capability. Marcus has over 20 years experience in the legal, financial and property industries in Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada. Since 1994 Marcus has envisioned and built several industry changing businesses, products and platforms.
